"Fantastic Customer Care"
I was on the hunt for a soundbar to go with my TV that’s just six months old. I stumbled upon one on eBay, but it was listed for parts or repair. Not being too handy with electrical fixes, I decided to search for a new or second-hand option. During my search, I found out that the specific model I wanted had been discontinued, which made me think snagging a brand-new one would be tough.
But after an hour of browsing various sites, I came across a new model at a really good price. I placed my order, and just 90 minutes later, I got a call and an email from McMichael’s Customer Service. They let me know that the soundbar was actually a display model, not a brand-new boxed one. They pointed out a tiny scratch on the subwoofer, which they believed occurred during cleaning, and offered to try polishing it before shipping. Plus, McMichael’s threw in an extra warranty and promised delivery within 48 hours at no extra charge. That sealed the deal for me.
The next day, Thursday, I received a dispatch confirmation email from McMichael’s. Later that same day, the courier company confirmed they had the package and would deliver it the following day, even though it was 270 miles away. They said they’d provide a one-hour delivery window when it was out for delivery.
By 11 am the next day, I hadn’t heard from the couriers, so I checked their website and found out the parcel was delayed (this was during the peak of the Omicron variant). I shot an email to McMichael’s Customer Service to let them know about the delay, and since it was Friday, I wasn’t too optimistic about getting it over the weekend.
On Saturday morning, I got a text from the couriers saying they’d deliver that morning. Later in the afternoon, I received a call from Customer Service checking if I had received the soundbar and if everything was alright. Such excellent service!
When I peeled off the protective film, I found a pristine box, and upon opening it, everything was complete and looked brand new. I registered the product with the manufacturer and got confirmation of the extra warranty on the same day.
All in all, it was a really positive and personalized experience, even with the courier delay, which was out of McMichael’s hands. It’s clear they genuinely care about their customers.
Even with the distance, McMichael’s is now my go-to for TV, audio, and home appliances.

"Fantastic Shopping Adventure"
What a fantastic shopping adventure! I placed my order at 2pm on a Friday, and just a few hours later, the shop staff brought it right to my door in Dundee. They were super polite and really helpful. I'm absolutely loving my new Sony Bravia Oled TV; the upgrade from my old one is just mind-blowing. Big thanks!

"Big Thanks!"
I just wanted to say a huge thank you to the sales guy (sorry, I don’t know his name) who assisted me the other day when I reached out to check if they had speakers for our Bose soundbar in stock. It’s been a real hassle trying to find them (even the Bose website is out of stock).
At first, he thought they might not have any available, but he quickly got back to me to let me know they had some at their Tillicoultry location and helped make the sale happen!
We were looking to get these as a joint birthday gift to finish off our home cinema setup, and we’re super happy with what we bought.

"Once more, the team delivered outstanding..."
Once more, the team delivered outstanding customer support. I didn’t pay close attention to the website when I ordered my dishwasher, but a quick call to the store the following day and Phil took care of it over the phone without making me feel like a total airhead 😂. Installation happened a couple of days later, and the next morning I noticed a minor problem. A quick call to the shop and someone arrived within the hour to sort it out. The service from all the staff is way better than their larger rivals. I’d definitely recommend them.

Awesome support! I rang up yesterday morning since my washing machine was beyond fixing, and they had a new one brought over by the afternoon. Gotta give credit where it's due.

"Purchased a Sony camera nearly a decade back..."
I got myself a Sony camera nearly a decade back, and let me tell ya, the pictures are top-notch! I'd totally suggest a Sony to anyone, but don't forget to grab a telephoto lens for those distant shots.

"Awesome Assistance"
I bought a 75” Sony TV from McMichaels and needed it mounted on the living room wall. Plus, two other TVs had to be rearranged in the house. Terry and Tony handled all the moving and setup, and they were super knowledgeable and really helpful. They did a fantastic job.

"McMichaels to the rescue!"
I want to give a huge shoutout to the folks at McMichaels, especially Marlyn, who really stepped up to assist me with all my questions and needs after a few other suppliers dropped the ball on the stuff I was looking for.
Their customer service was top-notch, and I wouldn't think twice about recommending them or making another purchase down the line.

"Awesome experience with Sony!"
Last year, my wife got a Sony camera and she was over the moon with it. In January, we took a trip to Victoria Falls in Zambia, Pumba Game Reserve in the Eastern Cape, and Cape Town. We came back with 1200 photos and still need to sort them into albums! We had such a blast on our holiday that we’ve already booked another trip for January 2019. My wife thought a telephoto lens would be a smart move, so I searched for Sony Scotland and found the Sony Centre in Alloa. I called up and chatted with Jim McMichael, who really knew his stuff. After explaining what we were after and why we needed the telephoto, he said he’d look into it and get back to me.
Just fifteen minutes later, he called me back with three suggestions. I asked for his recommendation, and he gave it to me. That was good enough, so I also grabbed a Sony camera bag. There was a bit of a hold-up with the order since my wife and I were heading to Portugal. We set a delivery date, and right on the dot, two minutes into the one-hour window from UK Mail, our package showed up today. What fantastic service! Marlyn Jamieson, who handles the admin for Jim, kept us updated, and both of them were super professional and a pleasure to work with.
My wife is absolutely thrilled with the camera bag and telephoto lens, so hats off to Sony, Jim, and Marlyn!
